- A Proofreader, Copy Editor and Journalist by career trade. I started Nkiru Ink Creative Services over a decade ago while freelancing as a writer and proofreader for Essence Magazine, Newsweek and Fortune 500 company, Standard & Poor's as their inhouse proofreader and copy editor. Dissatsfied in not having the freedom to travel more, I started Nkiru Ink, translated in Igbo to, "The Best is Yet to Come" with my 401K savings, a rolodex of contacts and a dream. Aptly named, "The Best is Yet to Come", Nkiru Ink is a full service creative entity that offers: Proofreading, Copyediting, Web Content Editing, Copy Writing; Customized Newsletters, PowerPoint Presentations, Speech Writing, Press Releases, Transcribing, and SEO.
In addition, Nkiru Ink. is community driven in partnering with Non-Profit organizations, Fortune 500 companies and Urban Community Farmers dedicated to feeding low income families, saving the environment and educating people on Going Green and Staying Green; and in making Health Our Wealth.
I split my time between New York, Atlanta, and St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. I still continue to write, proofread, copy edit, and copy write for an array of publications and my writing is just as multi-dimensional as myself as I write on a plethora of topics from: Arts & Entertainment, Music, General and Women's issues, Politics, Literature, Travel, Health and Social issues. I'm a true chameleon that blends in any environment and welcome opportunities in networking our networth.
